John Carroll has lived in Lumberton for more than 60 years. He is a long standing member of The Pentecostals of Lumberton.

John is currently a member of the Lumberton City Council. He was elected after a Jan. 20, 2019 election and appointed to the seat left vacant by Burnis Wilkins upon his election as sheriff.
