Brian K. Mock is currently the mayor of Chamblee. He was first elected in November 2021 and is serving his first term. Before becoming mayor, he served on the Chamblee City Council from 2014 to 2021. He was first elected as Council Member At-Large in November 2013 and re-elected in 2017. He is the first openly gay mayor of Chamblee.

Plans to address living costs and create affordable housing.

Supports an LGBTQ non-discrimination ordinance.

Plans to increase resources to address homelessness, including mental health and addiction counseling services.

Brian Mock has a bachelor’s degree in hotel and restaurant management from the University of South Carolina. He lives with his partner in Chamblee’s thriving Mid City District.

Brian has worked in the hospitality industry for over 30 years. He is a Certified Hotel Administrator (CHA) and has spent most of his career with the Hilton brand. He has managed multi-unit hotel portfolios, built and executed multi-million dollar budgets, and hired and trained thousands of employees in the art of customer service.
