- Your state representative can author, sponsor, and vote on bills that may become state laws. 
- There are 99 members of the Wisconsin State Assembly, each representing a single district. Representatives must be a qualified elector in the district they represent and a resident of Wisconsin for at least one year.
- State Representatives are elected to two-year terms. They only serve in the role part-time. 
- They are paid an annual salary of $57,408.
