Nathan Johnson is a state senator in State Senate District 16. He was first elected in 2018 and is serving his 3rd term.

Nathan is a commercial litigator for Thompson Coburnn. He previously worked as senior Counsel at Holland & Knight LLP and Counsel at Thompson & Kight, Attorney for Spector & Johnson, and Sheinfeld, Maley, & Kay and as owner of Music for Pictures.

Nathan earned his bachelor's degree in physics from the University of Arizona and a law degree from the University of Texas School of Law. He volunteers as a pro bono attorney for the Human Rights Institute of Dallas, chairman of the Dallas County Trails & Preserve Board, and Bedford mentor at the University of North Texas Law School.
