Jason Stephens is a state representative in District 93. He was appointed in 2019 and has served 2 full terms. He is currently the Speaker of the House. He is the chair of the Legislative Service Commission Committee, the House Rules and Reference Committee, and the Joint Legislative Ethics Committee. He previously served as Lawrence County auditor and commissioner.

Jason is a co-owner of Stephens & Son Insurance of Chesapeake, Inc.

Jason lives in Kitts Hill. He earned a bachelor's degree in economics/finance and business management from Lipscomb University. He is married to his wife, Juli, and together they have 3 sons.
