Chris Hodges' campaign for Brown County Sheriff is his first run for public office.

Chris currently works as chief deputy of the Brown County Sheriff's Office. He previously worked as a role patrol supervisor, police sergeant, and night shift supervisor for the Mt Orab Police Department. He also worked as an auxiliary police officer for the Fayetteville Police Department.

Chris holds an associate's degree from the Ohio Peace Officer Basic Academy at Hocking College. He also attended Northwestern University's Center for Public Safety School of Police Staff and the FBI National Academy for law enforcement executives. He is married to his wife, Brandy, with whom he has 3 children.
