Jason is from Auglaize County. He earned his degree in bioengineering from the University of Toledo, and his doctorate degree in osteopathic medicine from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine. 

Jason has been working with the Lima Memorial Health System since 2017. He previously worked at the Lucas County Coroner's office, and as the chief deputy coroner of Auglaize County.

Jason A. Stienecker was born and raised in Auglaize County. He graduated from the University of Toledo in 2007 with a degree in bioengineering, and obtained his DO from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2011. He finished his residency in internal medicine in Cleveland in 2014, and completed a fellowship in Pueblo, Colorado, in Pulmonary and Critical Care in 2017. 

Jason A. Stienecker has been working with the Lima Memorial Health System since 2017. He previously worked at the Lucas County Corner's office from 2004 until 2007. 

Jason A. Stienecker has served as the County Coroner for Auglaize County since 2020. He previously served as the Chief Deputy Coroner for the County from 2013 until 2020. 

- The County Coroner runs the Coroner’s Office, which is responsible for conducting an unbiased investigation on the cause, manner, and circumstance of death.  
- The Coroner is responsible for pronouncing someone dead, for photographing and documenting the place of death, and for releasing remains to be cremated, transported to another state, or autopsied. 
- They are also responsible for collecting evidence at the location of death. This includes physical evidence and interviews from witnesses. 
- Coroners are responsible for removing the body from the place of death, and informing their family of their death in a timely manner. 
- Coroners are elected to four year terms in nonpartisan elections.
