Assemblymember Monique Chandler-Waterman

Monique is originally from the East Flatbush section of Brooklyn. She earned her bachelor's degree in business administration from Berkley College and an master's degree in business from Metropolitan College of New York. She lives with her husband and their four children in Brooklyn

Monique previously worked as an educator, health care worker, and chaplain. In 2008, she co-founded East Flatbush Village, Inc. (EFV), a non-profit organization providing youth services.

Monique Chandler-Waterman currently serves as the Member of Assembly for State Assembly District 58 in New York. This is her first term.
