Craig earned his bachelor's degree from the University of Pittsburgh and his law degree from the Villanova University School of Law.


Prior to his appointment, Craig owned his own law firm in Gastonia. Before that, he had worked as an assistant district attorney for Gaston County.

Craig Collins is currently a district court judge in Gaston County. He was appointed to the position in 2016 and is serving his third term.
