Ed earned his bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, and he has an executive business certificate from the University of Notre Dame. He served on the advisory board for the North Carolina Biomanufacturing Training and Education Center at NC State University.

Ed is a business owner and consultant. He has managed large construction projects and supervised the engineering and maintenance functions of major industrial companies.

Tim is from Greenville. He has a bachelors degree in philosophy from the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill and a law degree from the University of North Carolina School of Law. Tim currently resides in Raleigh with his wife, Landen. He volunteers as a member of the Appellate Rules Committee for the North Carolina Bar Association. 

Tim is an associate attorney for the law firm of Milberg Coleman Bryson Phillips Grossman. Previously, he was a judicial law clerk for Justice Robin E. Hudson in the Supreme Court of North Carolina and for Chief Judge Linda M. McGee in the North Carolina Court of Appeals. He has served in many legal and political internships.

Tim Longest

Tim is currently serving as a State Representative for State House District 34. He was elected in 2022 and is serving his first term. 

Tim Longest is an eastern North Carolina native, born and raised in Greenville, and a proud product of North Carolina public schools. He attended UNC-Chapel Hill for his undergraduate education and UNC School of Law for his law degree. Tim currently resides in Raleigh with his wife, Landen, who is completing her PhD at NC State University. Information about the church they attend is not provided, nor is there additional information about other family members.

Tim Longest began his legal career as a law clerk on state appellate courts in Raleigh, North Carolina. He is a member of the North Carolina Bar Association Appellate Rules Committee and serves on the Raleigh Human Relations Commission.
