Jillian "Jill" Pope's campaign for district court judge is her first run for public office.

Jill is currently a staff attorney for the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services. She has worked for the past 7 years enforcing child support and filing legal actions for abuse and neglect. She previously worked as an attorney for the Charlene Edwards Law Office and as an assistant staff attorney for the Fred Smith Company.

Jill earned her undergraduate degree in trust management and her master's degree in business administration from Campbell University, and her law degree focusing in business law from the Campbell University Norman Adrian Wiggins School of Law. She is married to her husband and they have 4 children.
