Bob was born in Salinas, California. He holds an associate’s degree from a California Community College, a bachelor's degree in theology and Greek from the Moody Bible Institute, a master's degree in communication from Wheaton College, and a doctorate degree in sociology from The Catholic University of America. He is married to his wife, Teri, with whom he has children. 

Bob is retired. He previously worked as a professor at East Carolina University.

Bob Edwards

Rochelle Brown is a resident of Pitt County and a mother of three girls who attend DH Conley High School and Wintergreen Intermediate Schools. She is married to her husband, Brian. Rochelle holds an undergraduate degree in public relations and a Masters in Public Policy (MPA). She is a Christian.

Rochelle has served on various boards for over 17 years and has worked at the American Red Cross, where she was the eastern region's director. She is also a small business owner.
