Sid was born and raised in Great Falls. He attended Montana State University-Bozeman. He volunteered with Kalispell’s Cancer Support Community and Habitat for Humanity. He lives in Flathead Valley with his wife and their three children. 

Sid is currently a senior consultant at Summit 7 Systems. He previously worked as a solutions engineer at CompuNet, an infrastructure analyst at Weyerhaeuser, the founder of RSPike Corporation, an infrastructure analyst at Plum Creek, and a lead system administrator at Lockheed Martin. He served in the Army for 13 years.

Sid Daoud is currently a council member for Kalispell City Council Ward 4. He was first elected in 2020 and is serving his second term. He previously ran for Montana House of Representatives District 8 in 2018 and 2022, but lost both races.
