Lee Deming served one term as a State House Representative for District 55 from 2022 to 2023. During this time, he served as the vice-chair of the Legislative Administration Committee.

Lee previously worked as a teacher at Laurel Montana Public Schools for 35 years.

Lee earned his bachelor's degree in teacher education from Carroll College and his master's degree in educational leadership and administration from the University of Montana. He volunteers as a member of the Parish Council and Knights of Columbus Functions at St. Anthony Catholic Church and as a Committee Member of the Montana Fish, Wildlife, and Parks Citizens Advisory Committee.
