Ryan has a Bachelor of Science (BS) in geology from the University of Oregon, a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) in business finance from the National University, and a master's degree in global leadership from the University of San Diego. He is married to the former Lolita Hand and they have three children together. Ryan was born in Bozeman, Montana.
