Shawn McPherson is a state representative in State House District 22. He was first elected in 2020 and is serving his 2nd term.

Shawn currently works as a CFO for family-owned assisted living facilities in Glasgow and Providence. He previously worked as a staff appraiser at the Kentucky Department of Transportation and as a hardware store employee.

Shawn is originally from Monroe County. He earned a bachelor's degree in agri-business and a master's degree in animal nutrition from Western Kentucky University. He serves as the treasurer for the Meador Volunteer Fire Department.
