As the first Black judge ever sworn into the Cobb County Superior Court, Judge Hill adjudicates cases, interprets laws, manages court proceedings, and sentences criminals.

Served as a judge on the Magistrate Court of Cobb County from 2016 to 2020 and handled minor criminal cases and civil disputes, issued warrants, conducted hearings, and oversaw arraignments.

Served as a Chief Trial Assistant District Attorney at the Dekalb County District Attorney's Office from 2012 to 2014 and oversaw case management, dispositions, and trial attorney training.

Served as a prosecuting attorney at the Fulton County District Attorney's Office from 1995 to 2012. During that time, she was an Assistant District Attorney, a Senior Assistant District Attorney, a Chief Assistant District Attorney, and Director of the Public Integrity Unit.
