Franchesca received a Bachelor of Arts in English and a Master of Arts in curriculum and instruction from the University of Memphis as well as a Doctor of Education in Education Policy from Georgia State University. She is married and has four children.

Franchesca is the founder and Chief Impact Officer of The Educator's Room, an organization that provides teachers with professional development resources. She has previously worked as Literacy Director for Atlanta Public Schools and Literacy Coordinator for Marietta City Schools.

Franchesca Lane Warren is currently the Fulton County Board of Education member for District 4. She was elected in 2020 and has served one term.
