Mike Hamby

Mike holds a Bachelor's Degree in Social Sciences Education and a Master’s Degree in Instructional Design, both from the University of Georgia. He volunteered in several campaigns for local, state, and national political races and served as the interim executive director of the Democratic Party of Georgia. 

Mike owns a small office cleaning business and is a publisher for Athens Believer magazine. He previously worked in sales and management at Northeast Sales Distributing, as a financial advisor with J.C. Bradford. 

Mike Hamby is the Clarke County Commissioner for District 10. He was elected to this position in 2009, and is serving his fourth term.
