Tremaine "Teddy" Reese has served on the Planning Advisory Council for the City of Columbus and was the Chair of the Community Development Advisory Council from 2014 to 2017, including a term as Interim Chair in 2016.

Teddy is the principal owner and managing attorney of The Reese Firm, LLC. Previously, he worked as a Staff Attorney and Director of Community Engagement at the Georgia Appleseed Center for Law and Justice, and as a senior attorney at The Wright Legal Group. His past employment also includes positions at GEICO Corporate, Wilkinson County, Georgia, and the City of Atlanta.

Teddy was born and raised in Gordon and now resides in Columbus. He earned a bachelor's degree in computer science from Albany State University, and a Master in Public Administration from Georgia College & State University. Teddy later graduated Cum Laude from Florida A&M University College of Law.
