Clayton holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Business Administration and Management from Valdosta State University in 2006 and an associate's degree in Mortuary Science from Gupton Jones College of Funeral Service in 2023. He currently resides in Paulding County with his wife and son.

Clayton is the apprentice funeral director and embalmer of the Sam Clark Funeral Home. Richards received a bachelor's degree in Human Services from Kennesaw State University in 2006 and a master's degree in Community Counseling from Argosy University Atlanta in 2011. She also received a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Certification from Chattahoochee Technical College and is a member of the 
Zeta Phi Beta Sorority of Kennesaw State University.
