Judy grew up in the West Valley of Phoenix, Arizona. She attended Glendale Community College and graduated with a bachelor's degree from Arizona State University. She is a mother who raised her two sons in the Northwest Valley, where they were educated in Washington and Glendale Union District schools.

Professional background

Judy is a retired teacher and librarian who began her teaching career at Greenway High School in the English department and later served as the teacher-librarian at Cactus High School for 20 years. She is also a co-founder of Theater Works and has been a long-time board member there. Additionally, she has led healing art workshops and created the Sunflower Soul Project.

Political background

Judy Schwiebert currently serves as a member of the Arizona House of Representatives, representing District 2. She was first elected in 2022 and is serving her first term.

Economy
