Tony Cornett has a Bachelor of Science in Business Information Systems from the University of Phoenix and an Associate of Science in Computer Science from Pellissippi State Community College.  He volunteers as a CyberPatriot for the Air Force Association where they teach k-12 students about cybersecurity and STEM disciplines. He has served as Technical Director and Sound Engineer for several churches and serves on the Board of Directors for the Historical Society of Lula-Bellton.

Tony Cornett is currently a Cybersecurity Senior Technical Consulting Engineer at AT&T. He and his wife also own a small local farm. He has worked on Cybersecurity and held multiple managerial positions at AT&T for over twenty years. Before this, he worked as technical support in the Knoxville, Tennesse area.

Tony Cornett is currently a city council member representing District One. He was first elected in 2018 and has been in office for one term.
