Charlie was born in Chattanooga. He lives in Winder with his wife.

Charlie attended Georgia College in Milledgeville, Georgia. He studied at North Georgia Military College in Dahlonega, Georgia, where he completed additional course work in management and military science. Charlie is the owner of All American Bail Bonds, LLC. He is a licensed Georgia Bail Bondsman, a Licensed Georgia Bail Recovery Agent, and a Licensed Georgia Private Investigator, the founder of Square Investigations.
