Bruce W Dawsey

Bruce Dawsey is from South Louisiana. He has lived in Grayson County since 1998. He and his wife, Jackie, have been married for 32 years and have two children.

Bruce is the Grayson County Judge. He previously worked as an assistant chief for the Sherman Police Department for 24 years and served seven years with the Houston Police Department. Before joining law enforcement, he spent four and a half years in the U.S. Army as a military policeman. 

Bruce is currently the Grayson County Judge. He was sworn in in January 2023. Before that, he served one term on the Van Alstyne City Council and nine years on the Howe ISD School Board.
