Chance Oliver

Chance Oliver earned his undergraduate degree from Sam Houston State University in 1992 and his Juris Doctorate from Thurgood Marshall School of Law in 1997. He and his wife, Blanca, have four children and are active members of Prestonwood Baptist Church.

Chance is a judge for Denton County Criminal Court at Law. He previously worked as a prison guard for the Texas Department of Corrections. He also serves as the precinct chairman for Plano #2020, Denton County Republican Executive Committee.

Chance is currently a judge for Denton County Criminal Court No. 4. He was first elected in 2018 and reelected in 2022. He is currently serving his second term.
