I have yet to hear from anyone living in Willow Park or the surrounding areas that they want more high density growth and traffic. Citizens need to be involved in updating the vision and goals for our small city. It has become normal for council to approve development agreements that lock in specific zoning in a mixed use development. These approvals bypass our Planning and Zoning Commission and it disregards any citizen involvement in any of the public hearings required by sate law. We must stop approving all development through these types of agreements."
