Junior Ezeonu was born in Onitsha, Nigeria, and moved to Texas at the age of two. He graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Texas at Arlington.

Junior is a city council member. He works for the Grand Prairie city government, where he has been on the City Council since June 2021 and has served as Mayor Pro Tem since June 2025.
