Mike Jones is from Dallas, Texas. He earned a bachelor's degree in applied arts and sciences from the University of North Texas and a master's degree in management and public administration from the University of Phoenix. Mike lives in DeSoto, Texas.

Judge Mike Jones is the presiding judge of the Justice of the Peace Court in Precinct 4. He also serves as the broker and president of a real estate brokerage that focuses on commercial real estate. He has previously held positions as mayor pro tem for the City of Glenn Heights, a director for the Glenn Heights Improvement Corporation, and a board member for the City of Wilmer Type A Economic Development Board. He has also taught business and real estate courses at Dallas College. 

Mike currently works as the president and education instructor for the Franchise Real Estate Group. He previously worked as an adjunct professor for Dallas College and Tarrant County College. Mike also worked as the broker associate director for KW Commercial; a real estate advisor for BSA Realty; and a district manager, budget analyst, senior contract compliance administrator, and property manager & reorganization coordinator for the city of Dallas, Texas.

Mike is currently the presiding judge of the Justice of the Peace Court in Dallas County's Precinct 4. He was first elected in 2018.

- Justices of the Peace oversee Justice Courts, trial courts for civil cases up to $20,000, and misdemeanor cases punishable only by fine. They also perform marriages, issue warrants, conduct preliminary hearings, and serve as notaries.
