I will bring the talent and training back to the courthouse. I will give discretion to the Assistant District Attorneys and support our local law enforcement officers and stand up to ego driven Judges.

Being DA is a thankless job and one I said I would never want. I finally understand what it means to be called to serve. Transparent and unapologetic. I will bring a backbone back to being DA. You will be held accountable when I am DA and if you commit crimes in this town, you will regret it!

Public Safety

The Bexar County DA's Office has been run into the ground and much of the talent has left to surrounding counties and to the defense bar. I can no longer sit on the sidelines as a parade of weak and inexperienced and opportunistic candidates seek such an important office. I will bring the talent and training back to the courthouse.

I just want justice and accountability and to get back to the basics of law enforcement. We are all human beings who just want to make it through our daily lives without fear. We deserve to get justice when wronged and have a leader who is transparent and willing to take the heat for the tough decisions required to be an effective District Attorney.

- Represents the state and victims of crime in prosecuting felony-level and misdemeanor criminal cases in district courts within the county. Represents the county in civil cases.
- Can be at sole discretion as to whether a case is prosecuted.
- Works with law enforcement officers in criminal case investigations, while preparing arrest and search warrants.
- Represents victims of domestic abuse through obtaining protective orders. Represents children in Child Protective Services cases.

- Criminal district attorneys are elected through partisan, county-wide elections to four-year terms. Candidates must be a U.S. citizen, at least 18 years old, have been a Texas resident for at least 12 consecutive months, a county resident for at least six consecutive months, and registered to vote in that county. They also must be a registered lawyer or judge in the state of Texas.
