Erika is an Assistant District Attorney. She works at the Harris County District Attorney’s Office, where she evaluates every case and brings charges only when there is evidence to protect victims, the accused, and the community. She previously worked as a caseworker assistant at the same office, helping domestic violence survivors document abuse and obtain protective orders. Before law school, she worked for the Baylor College of Medicine Center for Educational Outreach, a program to increase the number of doctors in underserved areas, and spent a year teaching in a rural area of southern Spain.
