2026 Kentucky General Election

(a) Cherokee Section Entrance Sign at Brownsboro Rd. – Mayor Hancock stated that the Cherokee Section entrance sign needs painting, and the city is considering Whitehouse Residential & Commercial Painting (Whitehouse). Councilor Dreisbach stated that she no longer has ownership of Whitehouse. It is her daughter’s company, and she only is an employee. Following discussion and acknowledging that Councilor Dreisbach is an employee of the company, Councilor Astorino moved to have Whitehouse paint the Cherokee Section entrance wrought iron fencing sign.

Mayor And City Officials

As elected representatives, council members do not have any directed areas of responsibility. However, as indicated below, a few have taken on specific “assignments” in an effort to share the load and develop some level of expertise. While any council member is a reasonable point of contact, directing a question per the listed areas may result in the quickest response.
