Bryce is an attorney and a judge. He is currently a judge for Daviess Circuit Court, Division I. Before taking the bench, he was a law partner at the firm of Gordon, Goetz, Johnson & Caldwell. He has also worked in private practice and handled trial work in state and federal courts. He has been a practicing attorney for more than 15 years and a member of the Kentucky Bar since 2009.

As a state circuit court judge, oversees civil cases involving disputes with alleged damages over $5,000, the prosecution of criminal offenses and felonies, the administration of divorce, parental rights, adoption, and domestic abuse proceedings, hears applications for court orders that require and prohibit certain actions by lower courts and government officials, and exercises authority to review and correct the rulings of lower courts.
