He previously served as a senior economic policy advisor for U.S. Senator Raphael Warnock and as a policy advisor for the U.S. House Committee on Financial Services. He also worked at the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau and the Federal Reserve. Earlier in his career, he helped protect investors from fraud while working at the Securities and Exchange Commission. 

Pierre is an advocate for innovative financial services companies. He also owns a small trucking business. He occasionally works at a local funeral home. During the pandemic, he served as a policy advisor for the United States House Committee on Financial Services and for United States Senator Raphael Warnock. He also worked at the Securities and Exchange Commission, the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, and the Federal Reserve.
