Evita Nicole Oldenburg earned a bachelor's degree in English language and literary studies from Wesley College, a master's degree in English language and literature from Wesley College, and a doctorate in educational leadership and administration from Delaware State University. She lives with her husband. 

Evita's campaign for County Board of Education Member in Burke County School Board District 5 is her first run for public office.
