Ashley Adams Thornton attended Montgomery County High School. She lives with her husband, Quentin, and their four children, and attends First Baptist Church Mt. Vernon. 

Ashley currently serves as the chief magistrate judge in Montgomery County, Georgia. She was first elected in 2018 and is serving her second term.
