Glenda is a business owner and caregiver. She owned a hair salon, where she provided free haircuts to senior citizens before the COVID-19 pandemic. After closing her salon, she became her mother's caretaker and now also helps with her husband's contracting business, Key Custom Construction.

Juan Arias has been a Bloomingdale resident for almost three years and runs an interior shop, Bloomingdale Sewtech. Before retiring, he worked for Gulfstream Aerospace for 22 years in various positions, working his way up to project manager. Arias said he often hosts luncheons for Bloomingdale's fire fighters, police department and other city workers and is eager to give back to the community.

Juan is the owner of Bloomingdale Sewtech, an interior shop he founded with former Gulfstream Aerospace colleagues. He previously worked at Gulfstream Aerospace for 22 years, where he held various positions and eventually became a project manager.

Juan is currently a member of the Bloomingdale City Council. He was first elected in 2021 and is serving his first term. He is chair of the Seniors/Special Events Committee.
