Dani grew up in Cincinnati. He earned his bachelor's degree from Georgetown University and his law degree from Yale Law School. He has served on non-profit boards including the Jewish Community Relations Council, Women of Cincy, and the Asylum Seeker Advocacy Project.

Dani is the founder and operator of Cohear, a small business focused on community engagement.
