Norman W. Sanderson grew up on a family farm in Columbus County, NC, and attended West Columbus High School. He later earned a BA in Christian Education from Logos Christian College & Graduate Schools. Norman and his wife Linda have been married for 49 years and reside in Craven and Pamlico Counties, NC. They have two children, Jennifer and Lee, and three grandsons.

Norman W. Sanderson has a diverse professional background that includes working on a farm, operating a dredge, serving as a law enforcement officer and drug enforcement agent for the Pamlico County Sheriff's Office, and becoming the principal of a Christian school after earning a degree in Christian Education. Tare 'T' Davis was born and raised in Halifax County, North Carolina, and is a 1992 graduate of Weldon High School. He furthered his education with degrees from the University of Phoenix and Kaplan University, as well as North Carolina Wesleyan College. Tare and his wife, Monica, along with their four children, Tiare, Tare, Jr., Mayah, and Meagan, reside in Warren County, NC. They are members of Roanoke Salem Missionary Baptist Church in Garysburg, NC.

Tare 'T' Davis has served in the North Carolina State Highway Patrol since January 2000 and is set to retire later this year with 28 years in law enforcement. His career also includes roles as a campus police officer in Jamestown and a narcotics officer with the Halifax County Sheriff’s Office. Additionally, he has been a small business owner.
