Mac Manning, former sheriff, is running for Pitt County Board of Commissioners

Mac holds an associate's degree from Martin Community College and a bachelor's degree from East Carolina University. He is a Christian. He is a former volunteer firefighter, where he was Captain of the volunteer rescue squad. 

Mac is a retired sheriff. He is also a certified emergency medical technician (EMT). 

Mac Manning previously served as sheriff of Pitt County. He was named to this position in 1998 and served for 3 terms.
