April grew up in Colorado and now resides in North Carolina. She holds an associate's degree in paralegal studies, and attended Western Carolina University, where she earned her bachelor's degree in criminal justice and criminology. April is married and has a daughter. 

April is a real estate professional and is currently part of The April Stephens Team. She has worked in real estate markets across the United States. Before her real estate career she worked as a paralegal for a law firm and then in juvenile court.

April Stephens is currently a Johnston County commissioner. She was elected in 2022, and is serving her first term.

April Stephens

April is married to her high school sweetheart and together they have one daughter. 

April Stephens is a real estate professional who has been in the industry since the age of 17 and is currently part of The April Stephens Team. She has worked in real estate markets across the United States. Before her real estate career she worked as a paralegal for a law firm and then in juvenile court.

April Stephens was elected to the District 4 County Commissioner seat in 2022, she is running for her second consecutive term in the position. She has served in various positions before her election to county commissioner,  such as Associate Vice President of the Johnston County Building Industry Association, member of the Board of Directors of the Triangle MLS, Secretary of the Johnston County Building Industry Association, member of the Clayton Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors, member of the Cleveland Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors and President of the Johnston County Association of Realtors.
