Chéz Adams began her career in the Human Services field in 2003, working as an Associate Professional and later as a Qualified Mental Health Professional specializing in children’s mental health. She served as a Foster Care Case Manager starting in 2010 and became a trainer for foster care programs. In 2016, she became a substitute teacher for Clover District School and later for Gaston County School, and she currently works as an exceptional children teacher at Movement School.

Janna is from Oak Ridge, Tennessee but attended middle and high school in Gaston County, graduating from Ashbrook High School. She has a bachelors degree in liberal studies and elementary education from Belmont Abbey College and a masters degree in human resource development from Clemson University. Janna and her husband have twin boys.
