Tyler Morton is a lifelong resident of Lexington, Kentucky, and grew up in Green Acres. He earned his bachelors in sociology from the University of Kentucky and his masters in public administration at Eastern Kentucky University.

Tyler Morton currently serves as an anesthesia technician at the University of Kentucky Chandler Hospital. He previously worked as a legislative aide for the 1st District under Councilman James Brown.
