Lindsey is originally from Lexington and graduated from Fayette County Public Schools. She earned her bachelor's degree in social work from Florida State University, her master's degree in social service administration from the University of Chicago, and her law degree from University of Cincinnati. She has completed two different AmeriCorps service programs. 

Lindsey currently works at Micah Legal, a nonprofit law office she helped found. She previously worked as a clerk for Legal Aid of the Bluegrass and Legal Aid Society of Greater Cincinnati. She also previously worked as a social worker in Lexington.

Lindsey Burke is a state representative for District 75. She was elected in 2022 and is serving her first term.

- Your state representative can author, sponsor, and vote on bills that may become state laws.
