Beverly Chester-Burton currently serves as the State Representative for District 44 in the Kentucky House of Representatives. She was first elected in 2022 and is serving her first term. Prior to her role in the state legislature, Beverly was elected mayor of Shively, Kentucky in 2018. Before becoming mayor, she served on the Shively City Council for 10 years.
