Josh was raised in Suwanee, Georgia. He is married, and is raising six children. The family currently reside on a small farm in Hall County. Josh and his family attend Christ Place Church in Flowery Branch.

Josh is a business owner and entrepreneur who has a history of working in real estate investment, having started his own firm after renovating his first investment property. He has also served in an executive role for NeoLife North America, a nutrition company. Previously, Clark served two terms in the Georgia House of Representatives.
