Noel graduated from the University of Georgia with a degree in political science. 
He is a member of the Cordele First United Methodist Church and
serves on the church’s council. 

Noel is currently a board member for the South Georgia Banking Company and the Crisp Regional Hospital. He is also a partner at Partners Benefit Group. Noel spent 13 years working for Life of the South Insurance Agency.

Noel Williams was elected State House Representative for District 148 in 2019 and has held the position since. He is the vice chairman of the Insurance Committee and a member of the Natural Resources and Environment, Retirement, Ways and Means, Game Fish and Parks, Small Business Development, and State Planning & Community Affairs committees. He also served on the House Majority Caucus Whip Team.
