Quin is a born and raised native of Swainsboro, Georgia. He is a 2003 Swainsboro High School graduate and received a bachelor's degree from Morris College. He is married with children.

Quin is the Founder and Owner of ATAP (All Things Are Possible) Fundamentals, specializing in full-body conditioning and basketball training.
