Greg received a diploma in accounting from DeKalb Technical College, and also has a technical certificate in computerized accounting applications from DeKalb Technical College. Greg and his wife have a daughter and reside in Glascock County. 


Greg holds 15 years of experience working in both direct and indirect management for three major manufacturing facilities—Snapper, Magni-fad, and Scotts Co. For the past 7 years, he has served as manager for a community water system. 

Greg Johnson's campaign for County Commission Chair in Glascock County is his first entry into politics. 

Plans to "allow the Jasper County residents to have input into the decision-making process when it comes to obligating them to multi-million dollar projects, especially those that will tremendously affect their taxes over the next 50 years."
