Patch: Janet Read Resigns From Cherokee School Board

Janet holds an Associate's Degree in Business from Parkland College and a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration (BBA) from Milligan College. She resides in Woodstock, Georgia with her husband, Lucas, with whom they have two sons and seven grandchildren. She previously served as the Parent Teacher Association (PTA) President at Bascomb Elementary School, a front office volunteer, and committee chair for PTA committees at four different schools. 

Janet has experience as a community outreach liaison in Cherokee County for Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta (CHOA). She also worked as a Contributing Writer with Footprints Publishing and Family Life Publications, and as an Operations Manager with American Security Group.
